Beatrix Potter Little Rabbit Custom Birthday Party Invitations

A darling custom birthday party invitation in pink featuring one of Beatrix Potter's finest rabbits. Little girls just love to be fancy and dress up for a fancy tea party, hence invitations just as elegant and charming as the planned birthday party. This would also be a lovely invitation for a first birthday party (while Mom still gets to choose a lovely and classy party theme before the commercialized cartoon characters hold sway).

To personalize, simply fill in the correct name, date, time place and r.s.v.p. information. If you need assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm always happy to help.

Note:  We have moved these invitations to our new specialty shop "A Storybook LIfe" -- I have edited the links in the pictures above take you to the correct store.

Matching items are available, including fabulous DIY party projects.

Description: A proper little girl rabbit with a pink ribbon tied around her neck in a pretty bow daintily sips her tea from a china teacup. On the tile floor in front of her is the tea set, including teapot, sugar bowl, sugar tongs, milk pitcher and more teacups, tea spoons resting on the saucers. Perhaps there is to be a lovely tea party! Border pattern reminiscent of English chintz which is repeated on the reverse side.

About the original work of art:
Artist:Beatrix Potter
Date: Probably 1890s.
Medium and substrate: Ink and watercolor on paper.

Although this painting never appeared in any of Beatrix Potter's books, it is one of her most delightful watercolors and highly finished.

Matching address labels, stickers, postage stamps, envelopes, cupcake toppers and cupcake wrappers and other fabulous DIY party projects are available.

Note: The US Postal Service has just started charging a higher rate to mail these invitations because of the unusual shape.  Please check the store listing for the current correct postal rate. I regret the additional cost, but wanted to forewarn you.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I hope you enjoy your visit here.
