Merry Christmas and Plenty of Buns Beatrix Potter

Three Rabbits Eating Plenty of Buns by Beatrix Potter, painted in the early to mid 1890s.

These enchanting gift tags or gift enclosure cards add a touch of Beatrix Potter charm to your gift wrapping. These would be especially appropriate for your holiday gifts of food and baked goods. For hang tags, just punch a hole (these look cool when the hole is punched in the upper left corner).

Gift enclosure cards are always tasteful and appreciated . They are practical, too, as gift tags sometimes get separated from the gift during the all the merry making and holiday hubbub.

If you'd like to personalize the back (or change it to another language), simply delete the image and type in your own text.

Description: On the front, a delightful painting of three bunnies eating, yes, plenty of buns! I love her ingenious use of lettering which spells out the message "A Merry Christmas and Plenty of Buns." And liking good puns the way I do, I also love the play on words (buns like you eat and "buns" as a short form of "bunnies"). Beatrix Potter normally signed her works with her three initials in a lower corner, but she continued her playful use of lettering in this particular painting and placed them on the key tag instead, which I find quite charming.

The reverse is embellished with small Beatrix Potter drawings of a tiny bird, a pie and a tea set.

Please visit my gallery's Beatrix Potter Christmas Collection for another version of this same gift tag and many matching items.
