Angel (fragment of the Baronci Altarpiece) 1500-01

The face of an angel as only Raphael could paint it. I love the composition and the purity of line. Rich palette of Renaissance red and green balanced with black and white. Especially treasured at Christmas time, elegant and tasteful all the year round.

A beautiful decorative art tile -- or transform it into a framed trivet, gift box, cache box, jewelry box or treasure box.
