The Little Rabbit Custom Baby Shower Invitations
A darling custom baby shower invitation featuring one of Beatrix Potter's finest rabbits. Perfect for a tea party theme shower.

Description: A proper little girl rabbit with a pink ribbon tied around her neck in a pretty bow daintily sips her tea from a china teacup. On the tile floor in front of her is the tea set, including teapot, sugar bowl, sugar tongs, milk pitcher and more teacups, tea spoons resting on the saucers. Perhaps there is to be a lovely tea party! Border pattern reminiscent of English chintz which is repeated on the reverse side.

About the original work of art:
Artist:Beatrix Potter
Date: Probably 1890s.
Medium and substrate: Ink and watercolor on paper.
Although this painting never appeared in any of Beatrix Potter's books, it is one of her most delightful watercolors and highly finished.
Matching address labels, postage stamps, envelopes, stickers, cupcake toppers, cupcake wrappers and fabulous DIY party projects are also available in my store, plus matching thank you cards and baby gifts.
Note: The US Postal Service has just begun charging an additional fee to mail these invitations because of their unusual shape. I regret the additional charge for mailing, but wanted to forewarn you so you can order the correct denomination postage stamps. I would definitely be using this idea for a friend’s baby shower that I am planning to throw at one of the event locations in LA. Haven’t decided on the theme yet but I think using this Bunny Rabbit inspiration will also be fun.
