Invitation
wording is for a wedding hosted by the bride- and groom-to-be and their
families. Other invitation wordings (for weddings hosted by the parents
of the bride-to-be, etc.) are available.

Description: Fresh and festive, yet
decidedly elegant, these beautiful Art Nouveau invitations set the tone
for your holiday wedding. On the front, a layered look of fine
parchment over vellum atop a frosted poinsettia base. On the reverse,
vibrant poinsettias in shades of cherise pink, fuchsia, orchid and
vermilion (ah, what a wonderful palette for winter wedding!).

Paper choices:
The default is the basic paper option. This will give you a smooth
matte invitation and true colors. For a more luxurious look and feel, I
recommend the linen. The felt option will give you a warmer look and
texture (do look carefully to make sure you like the color change). For
a more glamorous and luminous effect, you might try the metallic
papers. The “ice” color will be more brilliant and keep the colors
truer but somewhat brightened; “champagne” will give you a warmer,
darker and more mottled effect (again, look carefully! ~ this is quite
the color change and has a golden cast to it) while adding a lustrous
sheen. (No, the “silver” and “gold” just don't work for this
invitation.) Do try out the different options, look carefully, and
choose the one that makes your heart sing. After all, your invitations
set the tone for your special day, give your guests their first
impression and clue them in as to what to expect. Take your time and get
it right.
