One of the many delightful items in my gallery's Beatrix Potter Bunny Rabbit Birthday Tea Party Collection. Matching items include: invitations, thank you note cards, DIY cupcake wrappers, DIY favor boxes, DIY drink stirrers, bubble labels, water bottle labels, DIY birthday banners and more. Zazzle does the printing and you have all the fun!
Instructions for cupcake toppers: To make cupcake toppers, be sure to order the 1.5" stickers. You will need party picks, lollipop sticks or long toothpicks (available at craft supply stores and some large discount stores), card stock, and scissors (or craft punch), glue or glue stick or tape -- and, of course, cupcakes.
To assemble, affix the sticker to your carstock and cut around it in a circle. (A two-inch craft punch will make the job go much faster, and matching card stock will give a pretty layered look.) Glue or tape the pick or lollipop stick to the back of the topper and stick the end of the pick or stick into the cupcake. (If the cupcakes will be displayed so that both sides of the topper will be seen, use a second sticker on the back side of the topper to attach it to the stick.)
Instructions for napkin rings: To make napkin rings, be sure to order the 1.5" stickers. You will need stickers, matching card stock (available in my gallery) or construction paper, scissors, and glue stick or tape. Cut the card stock or construction paper into strips roughly two inches wide by five inches long (test one on your napkins, as the size varies depending on your rolled-up napkin’s thickness). Adorn each strip with a sticker at center front. Wrap the paper strips around the napkins, using glue stick or tape to affix.
To assemble, cut card stock or construction paper into .
Instructions for drink stirrers: To make drink stirrers, be sure to order the 1.5" stickers. You will need craft sticks ( also called “popsicle sticks” and available at craft supply stores and some large discount stores), card stock, and scissors (or craft punch), and food-safe glue or paste (the white glue or paste used in kindergartens and schools and available anywhere glue and paste are sold).
To assemble, affix the sticker to your carstock and cut around it in a circle. (A two-inch craft punch will make the job go much faster, and matching card stock will give a pretty layered look.) Glue or paste the craft stick to the back of the cardstock circle (or use another sticker to attach it). Add ice, a pretty matching straw, and punch or iced tea to a clear plastic glasses or paper party cups, plop in your stirrers, and you have one gorgeous party drink tray.
To make a Yum Tree™ or centerpiece for the birthday table, gift table, entrance hall table: You will need stickers (a combination of various coordinating stickers from the collection is best), matching card stock (available in my gallery) or construction paper, bare tree branches (gathered from your yard or a wood – leave the branches natural or spray them white), ribbon (paper curling ribbon is pretty) or raffia or string, scissors or craft punch and a regular hole punch. Other optional items include: Paper curling ribbon, cellophane favor bags, matching favor boxes. To assemble: Arrange bare tree branches in a large container such as a vase or flower pot or pitcher. Rocks or marbles in the bottom of the container will help to stabilize it. To make paper “ornaments” for the tree, affix stickers to card stock or construction paper and carfully cut around each sticker with scissors (or use a craft punch), then punch a hole at the top with a regular hole punch, and add a loop of ribbon or raffia.and hang from the bare tree branches. If your branches are sturdy, you may also hang cellophane favor bags (or matching favor boxes) filled with pretty treats, tied with matching ribbon and adorned with stickers to be given out at the end of the party as guests are leaving. You may also tie bits of curled ribbon here and there on the branches if you like to further decorate them.
