A professional graphic designer who uses her background in art history and restoration to create everyday objects you can enjoy in your home or as wearable art. It's a joy to bring the best art and design of ages past into everyday life, plus invitations and DIY party projects. If you don't already share my love for artists and illustrators such as Alphonse Mucha, Edmund Dulac, Beatrix Potter, Carl Larsson and John Tenniel, perhaps you'll discover a new enthusiasm.

Flirt - Biscuits Lefevre-Utile by Alphonse Mucha, c.1895 Advertising poster for Biscuits Lefevre-Utile. A handsome gentleman in white tie evening dress flirts with a beautiful young lady in a high-necked gown of golden green. This could be the start of something wonderful. The setting appears to be an arboretum, and a philodendron plant curls gracefully into the frame. Colors include olive green, muted green, gold, reddish brown, cinnamon orange, taupe, rosy beige, black and antique white.

A truly charming gift box, treasure box, cache box, trinket box or jewelry box. You might say it could be the start of a beautiful romance (smile).

Matching items and more are available in my gallery's Alphonse Mucha Collection.

Alternate spellings are Alphons Mucha and Alfons Mucha. More words to help you find this are Art Nouveau, vintage advertising poster, love, flirtation, lovers, couple flirting, home decor, home decorating, classy, elegant, graceful, woman. man, couple, late Victorian, Gibson Girl, Edwardian, La Belle Epoch, the Gilded Age, late 19th century, jewellery box, late nineteenth century, late 1900s 1900s, classy, beautiful and romantic.
